Who I am
This website is published by Balogun Ola-Davies, an independent architectural designer, illustrator, and trainer based in France. For any question about these terms, you can contact me at boladavies@gmail.com.
Use of this website
The content of this site is provided for information and to present my work. You agree to use it lawfully and not to disrupt it, copy it in bulk, or attempt to access it in unauthorised ways. I may update, change, or temporarily interrupt the site at any time, without notice.
My services
I offer three kinds of services. The exact scope, deliverables, schedule, and price of each engagement are set out in a written quote or proposal, whose specific terms take precedence over these general terms.
Architectural design: design studies, plans, drawings, 3D visualisations, and consulting for residential and professional projects.
Illustration: commissioned illustrations, editorial and personal work, and the licensing of existing images.
Training: workshops, courses, and coaching sessions, in person or online, for individuals and organisations.
Quotes, orders, and payment
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work begins once the quote has been signed and, where requested, a deposit has been paid. Invoices are payable within 30 days of their date unless the quote says otherwise.
For professional clients, late payments incur the penalties provided by French law, along with a fixed recovery fee of €40.
Revisions and additional work
The number of revision rounds included is defined in each quote. Any request that goes beyond the agreed scope, such as additional revisions, new formats, or a change of brief, will be quoted separately before any work begins.
Training sessions
A place in a training session is confirmed once registration and payment are complete. Cancellations made at least 14 days before the session are fully refunded; later cancellations may be charged in full, unless you send a replacement participant. If I have to cancel or reschedule a session, you will be offered a new date or a full refund.
If you are a consumer booking at a distance, you benefit from the legal 14-day right of withdrawal, except where French law excludes it.
Intellectual property
All content on this site, including drawings, plans, renderings, illustrations, photographs, and texts, is protected by copyright and may not be reused without my written permission.
For commissioned work, I remain the author and retain my moral rights, as provided by French law. The rights to use the work (the type of use, media, territory, and duration) are transferred as defined in the quote, once the full price has been paid. Architectural plans and studies may only be used for the project they were created for.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and the documents needed for the project, and to make sure you hold the rights to any materials you send me, such as images, logos, texts, or plans. Obtaining the administrative permits a project requires remains your responsibility unless the quote says otherwise.
Confidentiality
I treat the information and documents you share with me as confidential and only use them for your project. I may show finished work in my portfolio, but I will always ask for your permission first for confidential projects.
Liability
I carry out my work with care and professional diligence. Within the limits allowed by law, my liability is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned and does not cover indirect losses. I am not responsible for the content of external websites linked from this site, or for temporary interruptions of the site.

How I collect and use your personal information is explained in my Privacy Policies.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one published on this page on the date of your order or visit.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a disagreement, we will first try to find an amicable solution. If you are a consumer, you may also use a consumer mediation service free of charge. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
