Overview
This project implements a narrative rooted in a territory with Mediterranean and Alpine influences: pastel ochres, terracotta buildings, villages with narrow streets that settle on rocky peaks, and a thousand-faceted vegetation. Sitting on the slope of an existing golf course, a group of suites and services dedicated to the hotel industry unfolds a new topography, supporting a landscape rich in contrast and which offers singular views of the distant and nearby landscape: the Luberon Massifs and the Villars quarries.

The Challenge
The space that hosts the project is currently a 9 holes golf course. Our wish is to turn it into a verdant, fragrant garden where rosemary and thyme give golfers and non-golfers alike an opportunity to nourish their body and mind. Creating this mesmerizing atmosphere will be made possible by planting one million rosemarie and thyme bushes around the golf area.

The Solution
Our goal is to create an eco-sustainable place that gives the guests the opportunity to connect with their deeper selves, and with nature. We believe we can achieve our mission by creating spaces that combine elements of architecture, landscape design, and nature into holistic, authentic experiences. In this way, we hope to elevate the senses and nourish the spirit of our guests.
The Result
Like a link between the earth and the sky, the roofs will protect the suites, the external circulations and the terraces from the sun. Favoring a bioclimatic and “low-tech” design, this project aims to blur the perception between architecture and nature, between exterior and interior.
